Malafatee (ملفاتي, Arabic for “my files”) is a document management system for organizations: a shared place to file contracts, invoices, drawings, correspondence and everything else a business keeps, and to find any of it again quickly.

It is built around a few plain ideas. Files live in folders that the whole team can see, according to their permissions. Every document can be opened in the browser without the software that made it. Search reads the contents of a document, not only its name. And nothing is lost quietly: documents keep their versions, and a member’s request to delete something waits for the workspace owner.

Malafatee runs as a hosted service, and organizations that need to keep documents on their own infrastructure can run it themselves.
